Top Ten Books I Want to Read by the Beach

Now that we've hit June I cannot stop thinking about my beach vacation. This week's Top Ten Tuesday fell just at the perfect time for me to imagine lying in the sand and soaking up the sun with a good book in hand. Check out the books I hope to read this summer with the ocean nearby.

The Vicious Deep What I Thought Was True Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1)

The Summer of Chasing Mermaids Pirates of Barbary: Corsairs, Conquests and Captivity in the Seventeenth-Century Mediterranean Not a Drop to Drink (Not a Drop to Drink, #1)

Across a Star-Swept Sea (For Darkness Shows the Stars, #2) Origin (Lux, #4) Passenger (Passenger, #1)

The Girl from Everywhere (The Girl from Everywhere, #1)

  1. Passenger is a good historical fantasy to read by the water. I enjoyed it and I hope you do too!

  3. Not a drop to drink was a great book! Not sure I would read it by the beach though. It may be too dark for me to read on vacation. :) Great list though.

    1. It does sound dark but that's right up my alley so I can't wait to sink my teeth into it. :)

  4. Rebel of the Sands sounds really good! I read The Girl From Everywhere recently and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's such an easy book to get wrapped up in--make sure you don't get so wrapped up that you burn in the sun! :P

  6. I've been wanting to read "Passenger" and "The Girl From Everywhere", but haven't quite put them on my TBR yet for summer. They're definitely ones I'm hoping to get to this year, though!
