This month I'm also hosting my first giveaway on this blog to celebrate my birthday month by giving one of you the chance to win one of my favorite books. Details and a place to enter are at the bottom of this post.
Anyway the plan for October (just like last year) is to post every day! Gasp! Isn't this fun and stressful? Yes. However, I usually find it more fun than stressful. Here's hoping this year continues like that. Today I want to talk about some of the things I'm obsessing over and give you some life updates along the way.
Current Favorites:
Books: Recently I finished The Long Way to A Small Angry Planet and honestly I cannot get this book out of my mind. I've been thinking about it and recommending it constantly. Honestly I wish I'd read this book years ago. So many people raved about it, but I didn't believe it could be so amazing. I was very wrong. It is a fantastic story and it made me cry.
TV/Movie Favorite: My sister finally forced me to watch a few episodes of Queer Eye (I've been meaning to and I just forget about it on my long list of things I want to watch) and I loved it! I think I'll be watching quite a bit more of this in the near future. Also I've been rewatching my favorite fall movies and I just need to remind everyone that The Mummy and The Mummy Returns are underrated movies.

Youtube: Right now I am loving missemmareadsalot and Winx and Ink. I've talked about Winx before, but she has recently returned to Youtube after a break. She always has new and interesting suggestions about books and meida choices. I'm hunting down some of her suggestions as I type this in another tab! Emma
Life Favorite: Right now my life favorite is Family and Friends. That might sound silly, but I've been really happy visiting and hanging out with these people recently. I've been having movie nights with two of my closest girlfriends where we watch new movies or old favorites. These have been so relaxing and restorative for me. Then I visited one of my cousins who lives out of state with two of my others cousins and my sister. We had such a lovely time and I love that we are so close. Our pictures always get my aunts and grandma involved too.
