Top Ten 2016 Debuts Novels We Are Looking Forward To

This week on Top Ten Tuesday the topic is REALLY exciting. We are starting to look ahead to 2016 already and listing our most anticipated debuts of next year. All of these sound amazing and they are only the debuts! I can't imagine how I would narrow it down to choose just ten books I anticipate for next year! (But that is a topic for another week!)

I've only listed descriptions because most of my descriptions would be along the lines of OMG I want this books now! It sounds so amazing! They all sound great and I am anxiously awaiting their releases. I've listed those dates but I'm sure some of them will change! 

1) Blackhearts by Nicole Casttroman (Release Date: February 9, 2016)

2) Into the Dim by Janet B. Taylor (Expected Publication: March 1, 2016)

3) These Vicious Masks by Tarun Shanker and Kelly Zekas (Expected Publication: February 9, 2016)

5) Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst (Expected Publication: September 2016)

A princess with a forbidden magical gift is shipped off to a neighboring kingdom to marry a prince, but she has to choose between her duty and her heart when she falls in love with his rogueish horse-training sister instead.

Audrey Coulthurst's Of Fire and Stars pitched as Malinda Lo meets Game of Thrones, about a future queen who falls in love with her fiancé's sister.

       

6)  The Heir and the Spare by Emily Albright (Expected January 18, 2016) 

Family can be complicated. Especially when skeletons from the past pop up unexpectedly. For American Evie Gray, finding out her deceased mother had a secret identity, and not one of the caped crusader variety, was quite the surprise. Evie’s mom had a secret life before she was even born, one that involved tiaras.

In this modern day fairytale, Evie is on a path to figure out who her mom really was, while discovering for herself what the future will hold. Charged with her late mother’s letters, Evie embarks on a quest into her past. The first item on the list is to attend Oxford, her mom’s alma mater. There, Evie stumbles upon a real life prince charming, Edmund Stuart the second Prince of England, who is all too happy to be the counterpart to her damsel in distress.

Evie can’t resist her growing attraction to Edmund as they spend more time together trying to unravel the clues her mother left behind. But, when doubts arise as to whether or not Edmund could ever be with an untitled American, what really ends up unraveling is Evie’s heart. 7) The Innkeeper's Daughter by Cindy Trumbore (Expected Spring 2016) 

Set in the mid-sixth century, when the clash between paganism and Christianity was at its height, the novel is a retelling of an epic Irish legend, in which an innkeeper's teenage daughter is swept up in court intrigue, a dark prophecy, and a choice between honor and love. 

8) Love, Lies and Spies by Cindy Anstey (Expected Publication: April 19, 2016) 

Juliana Telford is not your average nineteenth-century young lady. She’s much more interested in researching ladybugs than marriage, fashionable dresses, or dances. So when her father sends her to London for a season, she’s determined not to form any attachments. Instead, she plans to secretly publish their research.
